I Took A Journey

Last night I took a journey to a place beyond the stars.
I couldn't even get there by trolly, bus
or car.
I went to sleep and closed my eyes and traveled in my dreams.
To a place where Jesus waits
for us where we shall never weep!
I took a journey in my dreams and I traveled very far,
Out
of the universe we live, beyond the wishing star.
I passed the planets where they turn beyond the
Milky Way
To our Heavenly Father's home inside the golden gates.
He met me as I entered I'm
glad I wasn't late,
For He had been there, waiting standing at the Gate
To greet me and to show
me His love that is so great.
I have never felt love so strong outside those Pearly Gates.
Last
night I took a journey it was just a dream of fate.
For some day I will go beyond the golden gates,
But for now I have a job, raising up my kids,
Teaching them of Jesus and the promise that He gives.
If we follow His commands and we never stray,
Then we will go to be with Him forever there to stay.
