Governor Visits Greater Canonsburg Lions Club
DG Neil Canan made his official visit to the Greater Canonsburg Lions on January 2, 2008. Before addressing the club and inducting a new member, however, the Governor was required to undergo a physical and mental examination. Even though the results were inconclusive, DG Neil had to speak at the meeting in a hospital gown and was confined to a wheelchair.

Uniontown Lions Honor PID Ross DiMarco
At the Uniontown Lions Club Installation Dinner and Awards Dinner on June 19, 2007, the members honored Past International Director Ross DiMarco and celebrated his 57 years in Lionism. The party was a surprise for PID Ross, planned by Lion Nancy Stine, President of the Uniontown Lions along with her committee. The highlight of the evening was the appearance of Past International President Joseph Wroblewski.
