Sophia Our Littlest Angel Sophia you're our littlest Angel gone to be with God Above You are mommy and daddy's Angel forever held and deeply loved. We think about your sweet angel face and the day that you were born. June 9, 2001 you and Curtis came into our world so wonderfully divine. You came into this life struggling, fighting for your very lives. Our deepest prayers God granted as we watched you grow and strive. Fighting for your life each day mommy and daddy stood closely by your sides. We held you in our arms our angels Curtis and Sophia so sublime. Mommy wonders what you would have done in life or what you would become. You could have been a nurse or doctor helping the tiniest preemie ones. You could have been a graceful ballerina your beauty never would have been out done. You would have given us grandchildren bringing us joy and lots of fun. God decided he needed an angel: He took you from mommy and daddy's hands. We are not to question why we have to trust God and try to understand. Sophia, you are forever mommy and daddy's precious little angel beautiful so grand. We have to try to live without you our pain is so hard to withstand. We know you're our littlest guardian angel in God's beautiful promised land. Sophia was playing happily.....smiling with her beautiful shinning eyes and tiny dimples on her cheeks.  She almost took her first step all by her self.  Then she went to bed and something happened in the night.  Sophia got an infection in her blood.....a rare type of gram negative Sepsis.  It caused her temperature to spike while she was sleeping, shut down her brain, and the angels carried her home to heaven.  She is now our precious little angel safe forever in the arms of God. Sophia had a rough start in life.  She and her twin brother were born premature and in the hospital for 6 1/2 weeks.  She was put back in the hospital several times for breathing problems and RSV. Even though she had been through so much she was the happiest baby you could ever know.  She never cried unless her twin brother cried......a heart and soul connection forever. She loved playing with her brother and sisters, being rocked while listening to a lullaby, and hugging her little baby doll.  Sophia we miss you so very much.....you will be in our hearts forever.  Sophia's family would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers.  Special thanks goes to Alleghney General Hospital, Weirton Medical Center, East Liverpool Hospital, Newell fire department, Dr. Couch, Dr.Suray, Dr. Noble, Diane Huggins, Marilyn Nixon, Nixon Funeral Home, Kesters School of Dance, New Cumberland Nazarene Family Life Center especially Pastor Anderson and all our family and friends. A POEM FOR BEAUTIFUL SOPHIA We met you at the hospital so small and bright. Joe, Margaret Ruth and I visited you it was pure love at first sight! We gently held you in our arms you were a sheer delight. Your eyes shinned as your precious tiny hand clasped my finger tight. You mouth quivered with a smile, God's little shinning light. We pulled for you and Curtis since the day that you were born Twins bonded in love we watched you and little Curtis start to grow. You started out your lives struggling, it was truly touch and go. Proud photos of you and Curtis your mother always showed. It was always sheer delight seeing photo sent along. It was a great joy watching you grow more beautiful and strong. Yesterday you almost took first step, now today you're sadly gone. God decided he needed a beautiful angel so He called Sophia home. You're forever with your family a sweet guardian angel all their own.
