My Forever Friend
Dear friend I write this just for you: You mean so very much: You stand
by me in good times: You listen when I talk: You're always just a phone call: You're not far
from my heart: I knew we would be freinds: I knew it from the start. I thank you for your friendship:
It means the world to me: God sent you down from Heaven: To be good friends with me: He knew
what he was doing: You have made my life complete: My life would be so empty: You make it smiply
sweet. I thank you for your friendship: I just wanted you to know: I thank God for your presence:
He, your friendship has bestowed. Life will bring us changes: But there's one thing you must know:
No matter where our lives lead: No matter where we go: Remember this my dear friend: When life
brings us to an end: In my heart you will stay: Forever-precious friend. Written to Diane my
forever friend. Happy Birthday No matter where we roam, no matter how far You will be my forever
friend and when our life is over we will meet again. Diane Huggins

Diane's husband works for a steel mill and things have not been too good with steel mills lately.
Her and her husband and everyone else that works for our steel mills have endured so much in their lives.
I am a daughter of a steel worker and so is my friend Diane. We have watched our fathers and now Diane
and others are watching their husbands stuggle to maintain their jobs. We will be so sorry if something
happens to our steel mills and they go down. What if one day we should need them for a war, perhaps
like a war that we are fighting today. Suppose we have to turn to another country for our steel and suppose
that country could be the one fighting us. What then? Please write to our congress, our President to
stop foreign steel imports and save our steel mills and our workers. May I add, lets not forget the
steel workers that worked at the World Trade Center. All our steel workers have helped to build America.
