Our Country Takes A Fall |
I watched today in sorrow, As our country took a fall, A war was waged on all of us; We watched
the towers fall! The next news that we heard Our Pentagon was hit! so many lives we can't believe.
who would make these hits? But one more yet to come, What more can we withstand; A plane went
down near Pittsburgh, God help our country stand! A tribute to the lost ones- The injured ones
as well- We cannot imagine, The pain that they have felt! God bless their loving families! They
won't come home today. We need to get down on our knees and pray for strength today; For our
country and our President, Our service men as well. We need God more than ever; May he keep
us in His care! Written by Myself Diane Huggins

I felt that I had to do something so I wrote this poem in memeory and in sorrow of all the friends,
family, loved ones, strangers that died and have been injured. I pray that God will protect our country
and hold us close at this time of such deep sorrow. Our deepest sympathy to every one that has lost
a loved one in this terrible tragedy. May God comfort you and keep you in his care. Our hearts are
breaking for you. God Bless you! God Bless
